A group of researchers at Wake Forest conducted an investigation that involved 34 high school students with small, medium to large acne scars anywhere on there body.

The standard measure of stress was used in periods of high emotional strain, like before a big game or before major exams, 23 percent of the students were more likely to experience breakouts. Rather, the results led more to inflammation.
